so today has been both brilliant and terrible!
the brilliant being:
my gran (for reasons unknown) calling wayne rooney a “mini hitler”
seeing my nan and getting money and chocolate and nice things
seeing other family people
my mum getting me some lovely christmas presents including some hair rollers (!!!) and a beautiful ring and some perfume

i think the magic of christmas has been truly ruined after seeing my dad putting out the christmas presents and ‘santa’s’ empty plate and glass of milk :(

had the best effing 2 days evurrr: going to the sixth form panto, dancing to bad songs, snow!!! seeing carol, wearing a tiara all day, geting an amaaaaazing christmas card from eedy bbz and a funny picture from charlotte, eating lime jelly with glitter in it, watching the simpsons in psychology, going to lunch with people and having such a good time!!!

trying to argue that the words “paki”, “those funny coloured people” and “curry bashers” are inappropriate, derogative and just out right wrong to use in conversation with two ignorant oldies did not go well
these people are my little sister’s grandparents - do they really think it’s okay to make racist comments like that around an impressionable...
